As the former Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Football League (AFL) Andrew oversaw the expansion of the game both nationally and internationally. He led the AFL in negotiating a series of record breaking commercial arrangements, including broadcast and sponsorship deals, stadia development and a series of collective bargaining agreements with the AFL Players Association.
In addition to his role at Beyond Boundaries, Andrew holds a number of non-executive Directorships for international public companies.
Ben joined Beyond Boundaries as CEO in February 2016. Prior to this Ben was the Executive Director of Sport & Content Partnerships at Foxtel, Australia’s leading Subscription TV company. Ben has over 20 years experience working for leading consumer brands, sports leagues and entertainment companies where he has led many major sports and studio negotiations. These roles include Chief Executive Officer of the Football Federation Australia (FFA), the governing body for Football (Soccer) in Australia and COO at the Australian Football League (AFL). Prior to this he held various Senior Executive roles including Marketing Director for Nike in Japan and Australia.
Ben is also the current Chairman of the AFL’s North Melbourne Football Club having been a key player at North Melbourne in the late 1980’s.
Charles has 30+ years of executive experience in the advertising, management and sports consultancy industry in the UK, USA and Australasia markets. He was the founding partner of Synthesis Consultancy with clients that included the Sydney Organising Committee of the Olympic Games, Optus, Samsung and Vodafone. Charles also co-founded Insite Sports Marketing, which became one of Australia and New Zealand’s premier sports marketing agencies later acquired by Aegis Dentsu.
With nearly 20 years in the sports industry, Walter is a highly accomplished and well-connected sports media and sponsorship professional. His extensive international experience spanning the set up and negotiation of premium sports rights, major TV and sponsorship deals. He successfully brokered deals with key sports bodies, rights holders and broadcasters across Europe, Africa and the Americas. He previously held progressive leadership roles including independent advisory positions, Vice President Media Rights & Managing Director UK at SPORTFIVE Group in London.
Lars has been representing major sports and entertainment brands and rights holders in Asia for over two decades, including La Liga, Bundesliga, UEFA and the French Open. He is the former Executive Vice President of SPORTFIVE International in Europe and Managing Director of SPORTFIVE Asia, Managing Director of International Sports Media (ISM), and Managing Director UFA Sports Asia.
Lars was also instrumental in the successful bid for the rights to IOC Olympic Games Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016 in Europe and led the sales of UEFA EURO 2008 and 2012 rights in Asia/ Pacific.
Mark has 15 years experience working in the sports profession globally, starting his career with IMG London working on major events in Europe, India and South Africa, including management of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Since moving to Australia he has worked for Aegis Dentsu and headed up the Sport and Entertainment division (ESP) of Mindshare. Mark specialises in the management and implementation of brands sports sponsorship and media properties. Key clients include Land Rover, Ford, Volvo, NAB, ANZ, Commonwealth Bank, Vodafone, AMEX and Nike.
Mark is an avid sports fan and regularly cheers on his favourite rugby team the Springboks having grown up in Malawi.
